2016 Wrangler Hidden Winch Stock Bumper

Hello,
Ive searched this thing up and down and could not find just what I as looking for. Ive been working on a bolt on winch mount with no frame cutting and keeping the winch totally hidden. I have been building and designing a prototype and thought I would share where I am to date. I will be reversing the vacuum mount and it should just clear the winch gear box.

The difference is I'm working on mounting the winch right side up and no cutting of the frame. I will need to cut the bumper of course but I'm hoping thats it. The problem I'm working on right now is the angle to the fairleed. Its too steep in my mock ups. Ideas anyone ?

This bolts into the the factory bumper mount as well as the side frame mounts.

Can you have a roller fairlead on the inside and another fairlead (hawse or roller) on the outside, so they're sandwiching the bumper?

would reverse spooling the dyneema not alleviate a little of the steepness? I presume you mean because of the the rear of the bumper face being smack-up against the lineout.

Hmmm :headscratch:

What winch plate did you use to mount the winch on the underside of the frame? Do you have any other pictures you could send?

.
.
Just looking at your winch plate build.
Great idea...love the hidden winch idea.

Questions for you if you don't mind.

Because I don't have the gear to manufacture the winch plate...I would like to have it done at a local machine shop.

Do you have a version of the drawing that specs the ...

Bolt hole diameters

Dimensions of left and right side surface
mounted on left and right side of the 6 1/2" x 2' 2 5/16" surface

Hole placement and diameter
of the same left and right side surface mounted on the 6 1/2" x 2' 2 5/16" surface

Did the drawing in this thread fully meet the need or were there post design mods needed?
