Possibly buying Jeep, Hawaii

Aloha,

I am in Honolulu (military) and considering a Jeep purchase. Any tips or advice would be great... new vs used, things to look for if going the later route etc. Looking forward to creeping around the forums and gaining knowledge.

Welcome to JKO.

I guess it depends on lots and lots of things. Do you want one already built? Do you want to inherit other problems? Do you want to pay more for a new one? Is there anything used there that is in decent shape?

It really depends in your usage. Newer would be less headache, but older would be an adventure...

I was looking at jeeps for months and also contemplating the"new" or "used" idea... These jeeps have such awesome resale value that it almost makes more sense to just get a new one if your budget allows. The newer motor and updated interior really sold me on my 13
either way you go I'm sure you will love it!
