Bestop trek top flying off

Hey guys I had a bestop trek top and recently was driving my jeep to the beach on the highway going about 65 and my trek top literally ripped off the hooks that held it down.. The plastic snapped directly from the hooks and the flew off completely but got caught by the spare tire. Anyone else have this experience? Anyone know how to avoid it? Or should I just buy an OEM soft/hard top? Thanks.
