NooB from MA

Hi!

I'm brand new here....

I live in central MA - home of the 'there is no place to wheel in this state' state

I bought my 07 Red Rock Sahara in May of 09. Had every intention of lifting it a little (2.5") then got laid off with 199 other employees.

..but now it's real close again. Hope to have it lifted by spring! Probably go with 305/70/17 on the stock rims - unless I find another grand to get me the AEV pintlers

Steve

(ya - my neighbor wouldn't sell me that old CJ thats been sitting in his driveway for years)

Welcome to JKO, you'll like it here

Here is a tire / lift idea for you....
Get a 2" spacer lift (under 150.00)
Then look around for a set of pulled Rubicon wheels and tires. You'd end up lifted and on 32" BFG MTs all for under 1K.

When I pulled my Rubi tires and wheels all I was able to get out of them was around 700.00 bucks. So watch the for sale section.

08 2Door Red Rubicon. Rock Krawler 5.5 Longarm Coilover, Polly rear Coilovers. AEV hood & wheels, 37"KM2s, JE Reel 1350 shafts, 5.38 Yukon gears, Superior axles, Shrockworks stubby, Fab Fours rear, sPod, Rebel Offroad brakes, Warn winch and lots more.

Thanks everyone! Glad to be here.

Ya - I kinda figured most of the good trails are in western MA - at least an hour away. There use to be some good ones here in central MA - but they've closed them all down - now there are nothing but access roads left.

I should keep an eye out for used rubi tires for sale! it would save me alot.

yeah Mass is out to shut everything down. They don't get that we ALL pay taxes. As for your tire question I beleive the measure is 33" on that tire size as I think that was the last size I had before I upgraded to 35".

ya - MA really IS trying to shut everything down.

Rutland use to have some REALLY good trails - now they're all blocked off by those yellow gates.

...this is all thats left out there

...a few miles of that. I could do that in my brothers corolla (as long as I could stop it)
