Another Smurf Blue

Well after a 6-7 week wait, My......er...uhh....ummm....you know.....Wifes smurf blue came in. LOL

I've been on a while reacherching the JKU to educate myself. Not a new offroader, it's just been a while since I used to pull my boat deep into the woods to the secret fishing hole with my 91 Explorer 2 door sport 5 speed 4x4.
And I have raced MX, 3 wheelers, Personal watercraft, drag car, Lawnmowers for 30 years.

Our family was big so a Jeep was out of the question until all the kids grew up & out and the 4 door came out.

I'll be around more now.

So I think I'll duck for cover now . Fire away @ Smurfy

PS: from Central Fla area.

Delevered
Now have to learn to:
1 slam the damn doors to to get them to close.
2 how to see out of the rearview.
3 look at a speedo again. (GMC has heads up display. very handy)
4 see at night (GMC=HID's)

Center cupholders hold a nice & snug though.

Congrats on your rig. We ordered a surf blue recently too. We both loved the color when we saw it here online. It's nice to know we'll be the only ones in town with a surf blue jk.

I took the grandson on smurfy's first trail ride. Had to wait for the wife to get through mall crawling first lol.

We had a blast in the deep rutted sugar sand trails with a couple of knee deep water crossings. He got to see about 20 turkeys, 10 deer, some armadillos, Cows, a gator & lots of birds.

First off we saw a gator.

Then cows.

Amature wimpy flex shot.

A nice looking camping spot.

Lunch

The secret fishing hole. Grandson asked if he throw these rocks in the water. Not looking I said sure. When I looked those rocks were dry cow turds LOL so I told him to stop now and wash his hands hehehe.

Sugar sand

A great first outting for smurfy, but the best part was grandson having a blast and telling me that this was the best day ever he had with me.
