new / getting research for purchase

Hello, like reading all the info on here about jk,s. Been wanting a jeep for over a year, waiting for construction to pick up. Trying to purchase next month, leaning towards sahara or sport. I have it all placed in my head what i want, and have had to school a couple of salesman about jeeps. The scary part is each time I go on JKO I find 20 new things i want for my jeep, if I ever get it!

Justify Every Expense Possible

Seen a few bits online saying Pentastar is pushed until 2012 So it can be offered in a twin charged varriant to answer to Ford's Eco-Boost. ...

I did the waiting on hearsay and speculation. You even said you know what you want ......... If I kept waiting I am sure I would be Jeepless until A: 2012 and by then I have a year of ownership if the Myan's are right LOL! B: Big oil gets out of the way and lets Diesel power through the fence! (Been in the Diesel Crowd for a looong time and cannot post in short why theese things show up in NEWS .... and that is as far as they go)

Thank you for the warm welcome. I have read the same rumors about the pentastar v-6 and the deisel. I also heard about 2012 wrangler being on a different platform, maybe Fiat based, Unibody perhaps. If that happens then current jk value will go sky high. Who wants a foreign based platform for a Jeep? sure as hell not me. Why can,t they offer the small v-8 (318) on unlimited models?

I can 100% confirm that the 2011 models will have the same engine/drivetrain as the 2010 models. Pentastar not due until 2012 or 2013 model year.

I have a Sahara 09 4dr and I love it so far. I have had it 1 year now. If you know what you want, get it now. otherwise you will drive yourself crazy. there is always something new that we all want when it comes out. and as long as I own my jeep, i will be poor because there are so many things I want for it. it is actually overwhelming sometimes

too may jeeps and other vehicles. but my dd is an 09 wrangler sahara 4 dr, 4" rc susp, 35" attitides, 17" rebel racing wheels, hi rock bumpers, winch, kc's, rock rails, daystar accessories.....
