another nOOb from michigan

just joined the site and wanted to say hi.
i bought an 09 unlimited X 4 door 6 speed manual about 3 months ago and so far, besides the spark knock, i am very happy with it. still "working" with the dealer to figure out what that is all about.
did some winter wheeling in it for the first time last week and it did quite well for a completely stock rig. brought it to rocks and valleys off road park with only 2500 miles on it for a test run. got belly hung a few times in the dirt mounds but i was'nt about to hit the black diamond trails in a brand new stock jeep so.. all in all i was pleased.
looks like ALOT of good info here, looking forward to setteling in.

Welcome! Do you hear that sucking and UGH sound followed by big smiles and lots of fun?! That is the money going out of your pocket/bank account, the reaction of being broke after upgrades, followed by the happy reaction after its all done!

Hey welcome, I too amfrom Michigan, I've taken my stocker 2 door up to the mounds in mt. Morris a couple times and was impressed by what i could do, I've never had a jeep so this is pretty exciting, my coming year doesn't have months any more, it has a list of things I want.

It's always neat to take the Jeep out on trails before all the mods begin, to see what it can handle. The hubby and I took the JK out before it even had tags.
