Florence in May

Ok going back to Florence on May 18th and 19th. Going to run elvis and then camp out then the Jackhandle, since I have never done that one before.

Depart at 0800 from the Valero gas station on Oracle and Golder ranch road.

Im gonna try to come to this one. I liked the Elvis trail the last time we went on it. What all do we have to bring? I haven't been on a camp out with the boys. And just to warn everyone, I'll most likely be sleeping in my Jeep with the doors locked. I am not getting raped by a sheep or a hippy in a sheep suit.

If you are camping, I would say somewhere to sleep and food to eat.

Two questions. One is how do you know about that stuff, and two is where do you get some?

Front swaybar is gone! I put an anti-rock in the rear and don't really notice not having a swaybar in the front, so took the whole motor and front swaybar off - thing was kinda heavy for what it was, so nice to get rid of some dead weight.

Nice. It sure was and that rock loved it just like it loved both of our tie rods. It actually ripped both sides of mine loose and we had to fix it when we got back home. lol

Hope to see ya there my man!

Damn. That was one unfriendly rock! LOL My tie rod surprisingly returned close to its original shape and no damage to the ends; but, just for insurance, I'm flipping the tie rod over so the threads are the point of impact instead of the ball joints for the next time they smash down on a rock.

I also have two tie rod ends and drag link ends sitting on my kitchen counter for spares. And on my list of trail gear to get that I forgot last time is bailing wire!

Haha, bailing wire is the shit. Not that it would make any difference on our "bullshit" rock, but I'm ordering Reid knuckles to raise the tierod up a little bit and I will be getting a spare tre too just in case.
