Hydro assist

I appreciate all the help that AXSYS has given me on the hydro assist, I sent it out today and hopefully it will only take a week to come back. Fron West Texas Off road.

I did have a few questions for those that have done this.

Where did you purchase the return cooler, ( I must have missed the link in the other threads)

Also what suggestion do you have on the fittings, and or angle of the fittings for best fitment?

Thanks,

I got the cooler from PSC but am thinking about switching it out for a derale with fan. Then place it in the passenger wheelwell. I have noticed that with tranny cooler and PS cooler in front of the radiator that the temp has maxed out at 224 on a hot day down here. It didn't do that before I added the PS cooler. So it is blocking some flow to the radiator with dual coolers. I just need to measure and find the right size cooler for me.

You might as well spend the coinage. around 70.00 and get a tranny cooler now.

I bought a Hayden at O' Reilly's. Mine seems a little big compared to others. Not sure if that is good or bad. I think it was $49.99.

There is a B&M on Amazon.

Here is mine.

The list "usually" gets harder to work in after you get married.

Do consider the difference in coolers, Tube & Fin coolers are not as efficient heat exchangers as stacked plate coolers. I bought a heat sink setup which is apparently what the guys running full hydro use over on Pirate..can't be too bad and relies on very little airflow. (crawling, no dedicated fan)

Nice, I like how you routed the hoses up the track bar. I may have to see if I can get away with that on mine.
