Alignment!?

Okay I ordered my RK 2.5 max travel and I'm trying to plan ahead a little.

Where should I take it for a alignment that's "Lift" friendly?

Performance Alignment and Brake, alvernon just south of 22d. It has changed ownership in recent years buut they have found errors the dealer made (left off tie rod adjustment sleeve) for me and have warranteed my alignment done at lift (which they did) even through new balljoints and rods.....

Really?

OP... there is a button up there that says SEARCH on it. Click that and figure out how to do your own alignment. Even if you go nuts and buy a laser measurement tool (a bennie you will NEVER regret spending!), you will still be ahead of a single alignment job (and all these boneheads that are afraid to pick up a couple of wrenches and a tape measure) and trust me.... you'll need a lot of them unless your mall doesn't have speed bumps.

"Boneheads", "afraid" perhaps you should stick to commenting when you have something actually helpful. Encouraging people to do their own work and offering to help is great and are why some of us are here. Maybe thats what you were doing in a off sort of humerous way. Lord knows my humor is lost on many. Insulting people who chose not to do their own work or may be unable due to health/time/resources etc is simply lame. My geography may be off but at least i answered the guys question...

and no sam I won;t commit suicide because I didn;t notice where he was at, perhaps I'll just wear my glasses next time

If you knew where he worked and the time he is able to spend on the internet you would probably keep your mouth shut.
The OP was asking for help and some of us here in AZ are more than welcome to help especially since he is new to AZ.
BTW You should stay in your own regional forum if you can't be productive

You referring to us that replied boneheads afraid to wrench?? I work on my Jeep constantly, but youíre entitled to your opinion. Sometimes it is more convenient and quicker to have an alignment shop do the alignment. The OP was just asking for shops not ďhow do IĒ.

But good troll BTW, posting something not helpful and slamming the otherís in the thread.

Really.... all of you, look it up. Five minutes of research will net you a ton of saved money. Once you see the process..... you will clearly understand the (big) words I used to describe the guy you USED to be!

So you know exactly why I said what I did. It's a extremely simple job, which utilizes very basic tools that most everyone would have in their garage (or would cost less than a single "professional" alignment job). Pointing someone to use an alignment shop likely was done out of ignorance. Why screw each other when we can help each other?

(not directed at anyone in particular)
Don't care for my lack of tact? Sucks to be you.... but I think there might be an ignore function. Never the less, I did or didn't save you 80 bucks or whatever one goes for now days.... and remember, that was this time, there will be an next and next and....

my .02 cents are have some people help you to do it so that you know how and then if you want go get it checked to see how close it actually is. That will be reassuring to you. Plus if you need to check it after a trail run you always know how. Knowledge is more powerful and more enriching than throwing money around.

Yes, I am totally aware there is a search button.

Yes, I know how to use it. I've read a ton of alignment and lift threads.

Yes, I have the skill and tools to do it myself and I will when I get the lift put on BUT between ALL the threads I have read on the subject, RK and other manufactures recommendations, and the opinion and experiences by other members here and on other threads I've decided once its all said and done ill have it double checked.

After what I've spent on the lift, tires, ect another 80 bucks or so really isn't a big deal to me to make sure I didn't make a mistake. It happens from time to time.

As for the locals input, thanks, even the guys from Tucson...

Owtdrz... Dude! I do work SOMETIMES! Haha well... Kinda sorta. I spend way too much time on here.

I'll be back in town tonight waiting on parts!!

How are you initially checking your castor and what do you use?
