Vegas for the next month

So I just got hit with a short notice TDY to Nellis AFB, I am leaving tomorrow morning and I will be there for a month. Looking for places and people to go wheeling. Depending on my schedule I am going to try and hit up Winter On The Rocks but I'm not sure I'll be able to make it.

Anything within an hour and a half will work. ST. George would be awesome but I don't know the area at all.

Any help would be awesome.

Lots of good stuff closer than St. George. I only really know the scenery and camping info for St. George. I'm up for some wheeling on the weekends. Just let me know.

Thinking of hitting up Logandale on Saturday. Nobody to go with though. There are a few people here that wheel but nobody that knows the area and nobody who I feel comfortable wheeling with. They either don't have capable vehicles or aren't comfortable with how capable their vehicles are.

So if anyone who knows the area wants to show me around it would be much appreciated. I drive a stock four door Rubi. I'm not scared of a little body damage.

Plenty of wheelin out there. Potato ridge, Nelson has awesome stuff, logandale. There is a meetup group that is pretty active. I think either randy or adam should be the head cheese of it.

Potato ridge is always a good one. I could do either a Sat or Sun afternoon run.

Smashed the shit out of my steering stabilizer yesterday. I'll get it taken off today and see how it drives, if its good then I will go with or without the replacement if not it will have to wait for parts to get in. Looking at Saturday.

Just post. It does cost $7 to get into Red Rock though. The trail takes 1-2 hours depending on how bad you want to punish your Jeep.

Thanks, I signed up for WOTR a couple days ago. I am really looking forward to it. I'm just very happy that Uncle Sam is footing the bill for me to be here so I can enjoy some different wheeling I probably wouldn't get to do otherwise.

I'll most likely be there for the Friday night run, I still need to call Del and let him know for sure.

I might have another guy with a stock 2dr Rubi to come along. Still working on it though, they were gonna go to Apex so hopefully he wants to step it up a bit.

I've got some short vid clips to upload that are freakin hilarious with Lisa's narration. That was her first wheeling trip ever. I shouldn't have let her drive. She wanted me to take her again on Sunday but with my shifter being broke I didn't want to chance it.

That ought to be very entertaining. Looking forward to seeing those.

A few of us headed out on Sunday and did Burro Wash from Boulder City. Very bumpy road to say the least and not very technical but it was a nice drive.

Well now I want to hit Logandale this weekend. Looks like the Bowl Trail and the Matterhorn should do nicely. Anyone want to go? They guy here with the other Rubicon wants to go paintballing Saturday and he can have it if he wants. After beating the shit out of my JK in St. George I just can't wait to get it out again.

You were close enough to Nelson to just head out there. Some good stuff. Burro wash is a 10psi kinda trail to get most of the bumps out.
