There is no state inspection (so they don't care if it's on fire or not come registration time), just an emissions test and god awful registration fee.

I and several others I know, have run without fenders there before with no issues.

Thanks cause currently I don't run any fenders (nothing sticking out from side of body, front or back, I removed the plastic) on my JK.

If you are going to bring a car in from out of state, you will need to take it to DMV for an inspection before you can register it. Then after that it will not need to be inspected. I am not sure what they are looking for, wiper blades and tread on the tires, of just making sure of the VIN #s match?

Chicken Corners is correct, but its just a VIN inspection. I think they are checking for stolen vehicles? I brought 2 vehicles in from another state and purchased another vehicle from out of state and all 3 times it was just a VIN check.

It should just be a vin check.
