Moab trail advice

My wife and I are moving from Maryland to Washington State Via New Mexico. anyway that route is going to take us through Moab. I talked the wife in to spending two nights in Moab. so on December 11th i want to do some wheeling since i may not have another opportunity. since i am driving across the country and don't want to invite any kind of disaster can any one recommended some couple trails in the area were i would be unlikely to break anything. my jeep is built up pretty well, but i cant afford to break anything on this drive.

Well kind of depends on the rest of the plans for the trip. Moab is like a good 8 hour drive from 40 which is what I assume you are taking if your going through New Mexico. good news is that you can take 70 across for the trip to Washington State without going back down to 40.

As far as wheeling in Moab, I don't know. I am planning on going out sometime in 2012 to try it out with the jeep.

get the charles wells moab book, and a gps. thats all you need. youll be fine

In 2009 a crack commando wheelin' unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the South Florida underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as wheelers of fortune. If you have a problem. If no one else can help. And if you can find them. Maybe you can wheel with The 50/50 Off-Road Team.
