Random Act of Kindness

Hey everyone. Thought we could all use a little story of how humanity is still worth loving and why owning a jeep helped to reaffirm my belief in the true goodness in us all.

Friday night i went to Tempe Marketplace for dinner and a movie. Now as i pulled into the parking lot between the fireworks at the ASU game i could see lightning and rumblings out of the south west. But hey this is the valley, so i figured my rig would be fine with the top folded open in the freedom top configuration and the windows down.
Well as i came out of dinner at about 830 is was much breezier and the storm seemed closer but well it would not be the first time this girl sat in a wet jeep or drove home in the rain with the top down. Plus i didnt want to miss the movie or leave my companion (or ask him to help) just to button up the rig.
As i came out of the movie at 1100pm there was a nice light misting drizzle and i figured oh well might be a bit damp but nothing horrible and well isnt that the risk we all run as jeep owners (i personally like playing roulette with mother nature). As i head to my rig, I notice something is amiss. My top has been closed, my back window unrolled and latched, and all my door windows are rolled up!!!!!
There was no note, my straps for my top were in my front seat and my rig was nice and dry.....to say i was surprised was an understatement. I actually spent about 5 min walking around looking for a clue or a sign of who could have been so cool as to do this for me. Was it a friend from the VJC or JKO, was it one of they ASU students I know, was it just a fellow jeep owner?!?!
I may never know but I do know that it made me smile, and after sharing on FB figured i would share with all my fellow jeepers that,
sometimes people dont destroy our rigs in parking lots, sometimes they protect them!

That's pretty cool of someone to do! Maybe you can repay the favor sometime. Pay it forward!

that's pretty cool of someone to do for you. always glad to hear stories of decent folk still existing in a world that seems to be growing with a-holes that only care about themselves and taking advantage of others.

Awesome story. Thanks for sharing. Best part is the person left NO note or clue. That is the real way to show human kindness and the way God wants it. Do things like this because it's the right thing to do, not for the kudos you might receive.
