A bit overwhelmed but excided!

Just purchased my very first jeep!!! Woohoo!!! Now its on to planning my build. This is the overwhelming part. The exciting part is the world of aftermarket parts for the JK's. My brother in law is building a 1951 CJ3A Rockcrawler. I dont expect to keep up with him but i would like to go on at least some of the trails he would be into.

Any suggestions.

Not a DD but i do want decent road manners.

Dude welcome aboard! Very exciting for sure!

Do some reading and looking around in Modified Tech and you'll have more answers than you know what to do with!

What he said. Do lots of research. It took me 5 months to decide on my lift kit.

Welcome aboard to JKO.

Congratulations. As everyone said, research! In addition, go see Scott Moyes at Total Auto Pros. He has tons of knowledge, but importantly, he is a Jeeper. He always has 4 or 5 jeeps around. Best part is he will take you out in them and let you feel them. Tell him Brad sent you. Good luck and remember what JEEP stands for and what we all love.

22's on 35 series rubber and an eibach lowering kit. Be different.

Seriously, welcome aboard and have fun with it. Reasearch and window shop.
