Question Trail Guide Recommendations In Moab?

Hey folks. I am finally going to make the trip from the East Coast to do some wheeling in Moab. I am going to be out there in the end of August through the beginning of September.

Sadly, I am making the trip 100% by myself. No co-pilot or navigator. no other Jeeps or trucks.

Anyway, since I am going to be alone, I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good commercial tour guide? I am pretty sure I want to wheel the Golden Bar and the Golden Spike trails, but I have no idea what I am doing otherwise. I only have a few days, so I would need a trail guide that can help me maximize my experience based on my rig and wheeling skills.

Of course, if any of you want to meet up for a day or two, I would love to have some company.

Thanks in advance!
Spaz

you might consider joining this facebook page. Lots of folks on here that run the trails and you can post on here and meet up with other folks locally for trail runs that are more familiar with the area, pretty typical for groups to post and meet up daily.........cheers and safe travels!

I have done Golden Spike 2x 2015 and 2017 and would not recommend that one alone. we never saw anyone else on the trail either time. If you can find anyone contact Dan Mick. Mick does guided tours but I have no idea the cost involved.

I appreciate the lead. There is zero chance of me hitting the trails by myself. There needs to be at least 1 other truck/Jeep so worst case I have a ride to town. If I can find a guide that goes out daily/weekly/etc with groups, that would be ideal.

I'm making a note of Dan Mick, for sure.
