Where can I do some light wheeling in the Portland area? Just bought a 2013 unlimited ruhicon. Also, I was thinking lift kit and 37" but i fear snapping the 44 axles. Best to stick with 35s? I'k not gentle with my vehicles in offroad situations.
I've wheeled my 08 Rubi on 37"s for a year now and prior to that on 35"s for 3 years....no issues. And we're not takin it easy up here!It depends on how much skinny pedal you use to get through things...a little finnesse goes a looong way.
Have you heard of the Washington Backroads Discovery Route? It begins east of Portland out of Stevenson WA and goes to Canada if you choose. Here's the link http://www.backcountrydiscoveryroutes.com/WABDR
