Evan's Creek Sunday November 14th

Planning an Evan's Run for the 14th. Meetup time will be 8AM at the Burnett Chevron. Requires Northwest forest pass available at the Chevron.

For those of you who haven't been out there before, it can pose a challenge to some 4 doors. Good armor is recommended. My rockers have a couple dents courtesy of Evan's. Also be prepared to clip fenders back on.

I've been out there 3 or 4 times in the last year.

I think I'll be able to make it.. Only dilemma is I'm rocking 35 BFG A/T's right now.. How do u think they will handle the terrain? They're not too terrible in mud plus I have a winch etc..What do ya think?

You will be fine with 35"s. My first couple times on Evan's I ran it with the stock Goodyear Wrangler SRA's and had no issues.

Let me know what type of rig you are driving and if you want to PM phone numbers so that I know to wait up for you. Right now I have one other confirmed JK and some Liberty guys that want to try it.

We might hook up with a group rolling out of the Chevron at 0830.

Still on the fence on this one. Kinda got alot going on right now. I've been up there twice and didn't get beat up to bad. The guy that was behind me is another story. I'll get back to you the closer it gets. Thanks for the invite.

Which part is considered the lower 520? Is that the part on the map that is right by the campground?

As for you crazyhorse, I'll do my best to let you know what to expect. I plan on doing the 102. Plenty of three point turns for a JK and some tight squeezes. I will let you know that if you are trying to keep the Sahara fenders scrape free that many places are going to prevent that. Not sure what type of Sahara owner you are. Some guys are pretty protective of their flares, others not too concerned.

Good run for me, took the last place position cuz I got a CB and a winch.. I'm cool with that. But i followed a couple Libby's. Holy shit, I can't believe how well those little fuckers did. Seriously, I was amazed.

Dont get me wrong, I did everything they did But this one dude did pretty much everything I did. Still flabergasted.
