I bought Rex in MN. It was ordered in but never picked up by some MN guy. I was looking in CO but couldn't find one. I went home for Christmas in 08, saw the Rescue Green Rubi as I was driving to the grocery store, realized it was what i was looking for, so I bought it, took it back to CO, and it evolved into Rex.

The guy who ordered it did me a great favor---I got a smoking deal on it. No one wanted a Rubi with all the do-dads. Lucky for me.

There's quite a few modified JKs running around Minot, but I doubt any of them are 'wheeled. My wife and I are jonesing for our trails and open country back home in NM. Here's our two.

My '11 Rubicon on Camp 5 Road in the Black Hills:

My wife's '12 JK8:

1997 TJ with LOTS of stuff.
2011 2DR Rubicon with stuff.

Here is my JK with the Motech 5.3 ls. Couple of bugs yet but minor. Notice dash only has one light on which is traction control. Since there is no 3.8 anymore for the ECU to talk to you only have partial traction control but it does all work yet.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. The trails in the Black Hills are awesome! There are some that are as hardcore as you'd like. There's others that can be moderate to hard, depending strictly on your choice of line. Lockers are not needed for a lot of the trails, yet you can still have a lot of fun. My wife and I might be headed back down there the weekend after Labor Day to 'wheel for a couple days with the Black Hills Jeeps club. If you're interested in exploring the trails, I'd suggest getting a hold of them:
