Columbus OH questions

I am considering a move to the Columbus area and would be working near E. Broad and Yearling. I would like to live within 20 min or so from work but be in the best direction from town to go wheeling and hiking on the weekends or even during the week after work.
What part of town do you recommend? I am looking for house with a large yard for my dog to be able to run around.
Also, where in the S. E side of OH do you guys go for wheeling and camping?
Thanks!

There is no legal wheeling around town. There is some good wheeling with 1.5 hours and some further away.

I work right there too and I live about 30 mins from there on the north side of town in Lewis Center.

Where are you going to be working DSCC?

If you want, give me a call and I'd be willing to discuss some things with you.

My mom knows a person with a building with apartments for rent right around the corner if you need temporarily. Pm me if you want more info.

Right around the corner from there isn't the nicest neighborhood.

Peanut, out celebrating my birthday with my wife. Pm inbound, we'll figure out a time to chat.

So far I am leaning toward Pickerington near the Pickerington Pond park... From the internet it is hard to tell but is the water in the pond areas clean? I have a lab the loves the water and it looks like I could take her for walks to this park but hard to really tell for sure. My goal would be to find a house near a park with some walking trails or at least some large open space where I can take her every day to run around.
