3rd Columbus Area Meet & Greet: Monday 11/21

Hey all,

Usually we do this the second monday of the month. I wont be available then - hope it is OK for people to come out to the Tilted Kilt in Polaris the third monday in Nov.

We usually get there anywhere from 4pm-6pm and stay until whenever we are sober enough to drive again - talk trails, mods etc...

Post up if you can come out.

WOO HOO... I got my Jeep back... it only took two weeks for them to replace a bunch of stearing things... and a random part on the hard top?

But the good news is... NO DEATH WOBBLE.
They did however say that it is due to wear parts, ie joints, steering stabilizer... Brushings... (All covered under the warranty)... So this means Settle, you and I will probably see this again, and again, and again. I figure I've got another 75k-80k till I see it again.

I'm not going to be able to make it to this one.

Actually going to be working on the JK tomorrow night.

Bead locks, 40's, rear bumper, more rocker protection, tramp stamp, fender trim and rear tub protection.

Won't get it all done, but we will get a jump start on it and game plan for everything.

Have fun and I'll be there in December with a few new additions.

Well, I think they may have found it this time... I say they, but I was in the shop and pointed both problems out the the tech... Maybe I was quicker or maybe he didn't see them who knows... So, three bolt holes are wallowed out... Both Track Bar mounts and one of the lower control arm mounts...
With even one of those mounts wallowed out will cause what has been going on with my Jeep... So, hopefully we have found all of the problems...
Fingers crossed... Now they just need to fix it...

It's not going to be anywhere near done by next week. It's just the same old thing now.

I'm going to try and make it. I got confused on dates this month and thought it was this week.

Trying to get a few others to join us too

Looks like me, cwcargo and, wmphoto... wanna cancel guys? or be hardcore and go anyway? i guess we could always bring the old ladies and it will qualify as "us time" to be redeemed later.
