Columbus OH Trail Ride this Sunday the 4th

Thinking of hitting up the same place that we went to this past weekend b/c a few of the folks weren't able to make it.

Here are some pictures from last week:
https://www.jkowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=58464

A stock Jeep could make it through or around everything and if not we can yank you through! Lockers aren't necessary, but they help in some instances. Mud tires are probably a good idea, because there is a lot of it. If you don't have them, again we'll get you through.

I wouldn't say this is a novice trail by any means, but it isn't over the top extreme either. I'll be taking my 4 year old with me for the first time. He's super excited to go into the big boys woods (as he calls it) with the Jeep.

Going to get an early start so we can get home a decent hour or turn around and run it backwards. The trails are about and hour or so south of Columbus. Thinking of an 8:00 meet time on the south side of Columbus or earlier if people are cool with that.

Post up if you are going to come.

I'm in... With the family... Wife, Grace, Mckenna...

So, how rough is where we are going... I'm not looking to damage anything...

as rough as u want - but u can bypass the toughest parts. There were two unavoidable spots that were tough. i cant rem if u have a winch or not - but i had to winch myself twice - once out of a river bed, and once up a big ass rock ledge...as far as damage...just take it easy and youll be ok.

im gonna try to make it to this one - but its looking like ill have to work that sunday/monday

It isn't that rough. Like Ryan said, there are bypasses for everything except one, and that one you'll be fine with the lift and tires and if not we can winch you up.

It's a fun trail

Harder than Tar Hallow, but more fun as well. You'll get some use out of you skids, only damage i have is some trail stripping, but we clear some of it this time. I did everything except the waterfall, at least that what i would call it and the hill climb, but next time I'm tryin the waterfall. Showed my wife some of the videos, she wasn't a fan. I wish i could make it, but have to work.

I was thinking about bringing the wife and kids... I'm now thinking that may not be the best idea... I'll be there... We'll see who comes with me...

Yeah... Work is work... I know how it is.
You're still available to go up to Drummond Island I hope?
I think those of us from Ohio are... you, me, MuddinJeep, 1ths O, and I believe Inturnski... Meeting up with others from Ontario and Detroit around the Flint MI area... and then up at the ferry around 4:30-5:00?

What are you calling the waterfall? That big rock that Lincoln and I went up or the climb at the end that him and I went up?

Yea the part you and Lincoln did. Sure when it rains it turned into a small waterfall. Wish I would have at least gave it a try.
