I'm going off-road trail hunting (08/21) SE OHIO

Hey,

I'm convinced there are power-line roads, un-maintained roads, or logging roads East of Marietta, OH along the river. I'm headed out there this Sunday 08/21, but im going blind. I have no idea where I'll end up or where exactly I'll go. But I'm going to explore that area north of Rt 7 from marietta to about paden city. Doesn't look like theres much in the area. If i find a gem I'll bring some folks out for a ride later - I'll mark everything by GPS coordinates. But I am also not going to get too silly alone. I may have to turn around on some trails if Im solo.

Anyone who wants to come and potentially blow an entire day - is more than welcome. Could be awesome, could just be a lot of driving. So this is fair warning - could be a total bust. But someones gotta look!

Either way, I'll bring a lunch and see some pretty land im sure.

The plot thickens. I've acquired a map of park trails that are legally considered 'roads,' and I'm having an architect print it out on a large printer.

How did this go? Come up with anything good?

Had the in-laws in town all day or else I would have been there

I must have missed this thread. I have thought about doing this on more than one occasion, however had no one to go with and didn't want to get in over my head.

As my schedule (and wife) permits, I would love to go with you.
