Wheel/tire help!!

I got a set of 38x15.5r18 mud grapplers and I need to find some wheels. I am having a hard time finding a 12 inch wide wheel. This is my first time adding this big of tires. I have a 2007 jk and need 5x5 bolt pattern. Anyone have suggestions? And the biggest question, can I run a 10 inch wide wheel on a 15.5 wide tire? And does anyone think I would have to run spacers?

Check out MRW wheels. They build them to your specs and are very strong (steel). With 15.5 width you will need some heavy back spacing, so if you go with an off the shelf rim you may need spacers. I'd bet 3" back spacing will giv you enough. I'm running 37x12.5's with 3.5" back spacing and have several inches of space at full stops.

Good luck

A 10" wheel will do ok. Just be aware that NITTO's are pretty true to size.
so the spacers may be necessary to clear.

10" rims will work, but it's going to be hard to find rims with enough back spacing to allow for clearance. There's no real downside to running spacers, so if I was in your position, I'd just find a wheel that you like and get a set of spacers.
