Looking for a reputable 4x4 shop in Joliet...

Hey fellas, I live near Joliet, IL and I'm hoping to find somebody to install an AEV 3.5" lift kit for me. I don't have the time to install it myself right now so I need to drop it off and pick it up. Any recommendations?

Thanks for the help in advance!!

There's not much around here. There's winners circle but expect to pay outrageous prices. I just found out about a place in Elwood, Nobbies off-road I haven't seen or heard anything about them though. I talked to the owner for a little bit, it sounds promising. I'll be dealing with him soon, I'll let ya know.

Isn't AEV a kit that a dealer will install? Might save you warranty hassles if it's still covered.

I'm not sure if the dealer would. Typically, I am unimpressed by dealerships as far as maintenance goes, so I don't know if I would trust them for a lift kit install.

There is a place called Attitude Performance in Arlington Heights. They can be a little pricey, but do good work.

I know you said you don't have time...but really...the kit is an easy install. I did it in my driveway with 99% hand tools. I'd recommend waiting until you have a good weekend and doing it yourself, honestly. Have a friend help (unlike me, whose friends disappeared that weekend) and you'll have it back on the road before you know it.

Maximum Automotive in Naperville (right across from Jeep Dealership..haha)
They did my engine rebuild and a few other things. Great work and great gusy with fair price and one of the lead mechanics is a Jeeper, off-roader
