Chicago shop recommendations?

Hello ladies and gents

I am installing my lift and 35in Trail Grapplers on my JKU this week and also looking to regear. I currently have 3.73 gears and want to swap for 4.56.
I was hoping someone on here could recommend a shop that they have had a great experience with. I am pretty handy with tools but I do not feel comfortable tackling axles at all.
Any leads are appreciated.
Thanks

If anyone else in the Chicagoland area is looking for a shop to swap out gears I got 2 quotes yesterday.

Suburban Driveline in Villa Park
$2200
Attitude Performance in Arlington Heights
$2000

both parts and labor. and both using Yukon gears and bearing kits. no Lockers no new carriers.

Hope this helps someone
Cheers

Guy at Attitude is kinda a beat off, but definitely knows his shit. Might be from the experience i had with him. Also Ace Wheel and Tire might be able do gears as well, not sure tho

Ace does not do gears. I bought my lift kit and tires from them though. Best prices anywhere.

Is the 42 an AF42 reference?

Not sure if you are the guy who asked on another forum but i recommended Wildside in Naperville.
Not sure on regear prices but the guy really only works on JKs so knows whats going on.
Might be a bit of a run out for you though.

Mabye you should be looking for someone that is willing to help you do your own gears...save a ton of money and learn some stuff...

Any idea how their prices are in general? I purchased my JKU at Naperville Jeep a few weeks ago and plan to visit Wildside later this week or this weekend to look at everything from security deck enclosures and soft tops to wheels, tires, grilles, and bumpers.

I would contact Marcus at River City Offroad on here for all those things. He will help you make the best decision for your needs.

Marcus is great. He is always available to answer any questions and doesn't bs you into buying things you don't need.

Shops:
I'm in the City and by me is Thom's Four Wheel Drive. They quoted me $800 per axle to install my gears and air locker (I already had the parts). Ended up installing myself. They did torque all my lift jam nuts. Prices are quite reasonable. My only complaint was they did an alignment but couldn't provide me an alignment sheet.

I've known a few that went to attitude and have had good results. They seem to be a go to for more complicated projects. I spoke to them about beefing up my dana 30 and they seemed to know their stuff.
