Thumbs up McCaslin-first adventure

We just got back fom McCaslin 4x4 park & it was awesome.the cabin was perfect (had full kitchen & bathroom) we ruffed it having no sound for the satelite tv.( did not expeted the tv,at night watched bow hunting )The trails were cool. alot of ruts , rocks ,& mud !! I didnt go thru the whole trail ( Big Red is stock yet), but now the wife agrees the JK needs BIGER TIRES & A GOOD LIFT KIT. alot of water on the trail from all the rain we got Fri. If you get a chance go & try it out !!! were going back next summer & try out another trail down the road from McCaslin.

Cool-glad to hear that it was both fun and apparently challenging. I am heading up this weekend for my first time at that park.

Thanks for the trip report. We're most likely going to be there on Oct 10th. Do you have any pictures from your weekend?

I hear ya! You gotta have a digital one. It comes with a cord that you connect to your computer to upload them. Probably not what you are ready for if you're still using the disposable ones!

No problem! We're definitely going again when the snow melts this spring. Last time we went, one of the vehicles in the group was a Geo Tracker - and he was able to do everything the big boys did, so stock jeeps are fine as long as you've got recovery points. Looking forward to it!

I especially like the fuzzy dice hanging on his rearview mirror! Now that is a true offroad enthusiast! <<sarcasm>>
