Rubi axle regear

I just picked up a set of JKUR axles to put under my LJ.
I'm wanting to regear to 5.13. Can I do that on the stock lockers?

What brand gears are you guys running and how are they holding up?

Yes, you can run 5.13s with the stock lockers.

You can't go wrong with Yukon gears!

Sweet! Thx!

What are your thoughts on break in? I've done a little bit of reading on it and getting both sides of the fence.

LJ shouldnt need the gearing as it has the 4.0 engine... Unless you plan on running large tires.

5.13's will put the engine out of its torque range as 4.0 is a low end monster (well compared to a 3.8)

08 2 door (yes they made them) 3.5 RK lift, 35s lunchbox locked 30 front 44 LSD rear

Awww what the hell, do it!

I have 32's with 5.13's and I run just over 2000 rpm at 55 in OD, driveshaft however is just a hummin

lol

I was thinking I don't want to go 4.56 or 4.88 and not have enough gear so I figured 5.13 should be plenty. Main concern is r&p strength at that ratio.
