Yesterday brought the suck!

Late Monday night we had a fire in the overflow warehouse @ Spike's Tactical. It was a shared unit that was co-occupied with a spray foam company.

Apparently one of their box trucks had a fire in it at their job site, however rather than investigating the cause, they decided it was a much more intelligent idea to park it inside a building filled with other people's personal property.

A few of our members here on JKO were affected. JKRay and RobertJK both had their kayaks stored in there. In addition Ray's Craigcat appears to be a complete loss. The worst hit was Spike's brand new Audi Q7 with barely 20 miles on it, as well as a 2nd Craigcat and two scooters.

The official word is that it's all still under investigation. However you look at it, it still brings the major suck!

Man that sucks a lot. Hope everything gets straightened out on their dime.

Were all these vehicles being mounted with turret guns before the fire?

...only Spike's Craigcat was set up for a turret gun....

One way or another someone is going to get knucklefucked over this one....whether it comes from an insurance adjuster or a lawyer.....

The only direct business stuff damaged was four pallets of cardboard and a pallet of our black plastic shipping cases which now looks like one giant glob of black plastic.

The Audi appraisal came back with significant electrical and smoke damage and has already been towed back to the dealership.
