Okay so a few weeks ago I took my JKU into the Arrigo Sawgrass Jeep for an oil change, the service rep tells me that the Jeep is coding for a right front fog light problem seeing no problems with the fog light and just needing a quick oil change I told her that I will stop back to check it out. Fast forward a few weeks and I changed out my stock fog lights for a set from Inspired-Engineering lights (here in Miami great lights BTW) and now my engine light goes on. I take the Jeep in to Arrigo and they tell me that it is an emissions valve problem and that the right front fog light is still coding as a problem. After I installed the aftermarket fog lights I noticed that when I when I was idling the right front fog light seemed dimmer than the left. The other day I took the Jeep into Arrigo to be serviced for the emissions problem and asked them to check on the right fog light. After almost two days at the shop they tell me that while the emissions problems was a quick fix but the fog light problem was solved by simply re connecting a loose connection on the after market fog lights. I had expected them to tell me that the fog light problem was because I switched to LED fog lights, but no they worked thru the problem systematically and discovered that it was simply a loose connection. I had a conversation with the service staff and they informed me that they consider most modifications to a Jeep "normal" and that they do not automatically consider a jeep "out of warranty" because aftermarket modifications have been done to the suspension, lighting or engine etc. They also told me that the service staff is fully aware of most of the after market accessories and modifications available for the wrangler and will stand by their warranty regardless of modifications made to the vehicle. They also told me that if I was considering having any other modifications done to the jeep who they thought I should take it to "if it was their vehicle" and wanted quality work done. Wow, it's very surprising to hear a story like this. Most of what I've heard is something like this "Yeah, we saw you have aftermarket foglights, so we won't cover your busted differential." Or something ridiculous like that lol.

Currently I have a CEL and Dadeland Jeep told me that it's an evap issue. They claim they can't clear it and it might be something as simple as a loose gas cap. This happened about two months ago, I learned to live with it. It doesn't affect drivability at all. Maybe, I'll stop by Arriago when I'm in the area.
