SE Road Trip / Vacation Spots

OK guys gals. The wife and I have a few days off, and I would like to do a road trip. Got any suggestions? I am usually really good with stuff like this, but I am at a loss this time.

Time - 5days/4nigts
Distance - Don't want to drive more-than 6hrs
Cost - Not a huge factor, but don't want to drop thousands

Considerations so far: Captiva Island. Blue Ridge. Keys. Daytona. Pensacola.

Of course somewhere near some moderate trails would be cool...

Not SE, but here are my choices -

Smokey Mountains - Gatlinburg TN(sp?) or Clearwater Beach, FL

Captiva won't bring you near any trails as you will be out on the island. but a great getaway if this is where you choose. of course if you ventured to the mainland one of those days, there is always Babcock WMA to roll around in the jeep... it's in Punta Gorda. 70+thousand acres of trails and such. not sure how much of it's open but would be fun for a half day or more. if this is where you decide let me know and i'll hit the trails with you.

I'd have to say Blue Ridge. You should be into leaf season.

So E. Do you have some recommended places to stay?
