Angry stupid search

can i ***** about the search function for a second?

so i don't want to post a question that I KNOW has been asked before, i just want to find the goddam answer and be on my merry way and drop a couple grand on the jeep.

what a piece of sh!t. it doesn't like my search term (too short). so i lengthen it. doesn't like either words in the search terms. so i lengthen it and try different words. "must wait 30 seconds between searches." count to 30. click search again. "must wait 30 seconds between searches."

EFF THIS!!!

WHAT SIZE TIRES DO I NEED???? I'm getting the KM2s - 33s. I need that other number, the one with the R in it.

I think the word you are looking for is...................retard!

Typically the r is for rim size

Example 33x12.50x17r would be a tire for a 17" rim

more wagging, less barking

I have to agree with BadAz here... the search function is a little difficult. There should be more options to narrow your search down so you don't get a ton of results back and the member search is almost impossible. Just my two pennies.

when shearching small entries try putting and (*)asterisk before or after. some search functions use it as a wildcard.

The answer you seek is a metric tire size yes?

A tire approx 32.8" is a 285/75R16

The better question is why did you post this at all considering I told you that you needed 285/70/R17? Do you not trust me?

j/k - I know you're a post whore!

to answer your question badaz... it depends what rim size you have. i will go out on a limb and say you are going to run your stock wheels which i think at 17s (correct me if i'm wrong) those would be 17x 7.5. if you want to run 33's you will be looking at 33x12.5x17.
first number is height.
second is width.
third is wheel size.

forgive me for being a dumb broad and not knowing about tire sizes. Goodwood, you're an asshole. Lucky - I've been told different things by different people so I wanted to know why; you know I trust your judgment implicitly (And it's 'hoochie' here - 'whore' is for the honda forums). scottrock and emetal, as usual, thanks for coming through with great info - i learned something today.

Well Badazz I guess I'm a dumb broad with ya, tire sizes tended to confuse me with the different ways they are expressed!

why can't i put 35s on the Jeep? The Man is telling me I'm not allowed. I don't like being told what I can and can't do, so now I MUST put 35s on it. I have spacers and I'm going for the TF 2.5" lift

All vbulletin searches suck . . Personally I use google. Lets say you want to search for a RIPP Supercharger simply go to google and search "RIPP Supercharger site:jkowners.com" By adding the site:jkowners.com it willl only look at this domain but will still search for most relevant first

My company actually got rid of it's internal knowledge management search function and just put in Google search instead. Wouldn't it be great if we could just get Google embedded here?

btw when searching craigslist, I use google.com because it's a better search engine than that POS craigslist search by area crap.
