SAweet deal?

Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTX Tire LT285/75R16 (33x11.50R16LT)http://www.quadratec.com/Assets/Imag...3/37003-th.jpg
Hey guys, I saw this tire on Quadratec and they seem unusually cheap (to me). I'm still a newb and want some bigger tires for cheap but dont want to buy crap. I dont do to much offroading so I do want an all terain type wheel so i have 2 questions...
1. Are these tires good quallity and are they gonna last with lots of road driving?
2. They only come in the 16" wheel style and how will this effect road driving?

Also... I was gonna get the black rock wheels (997) style and wanted to make sure these were alright?

Thanks everyone!
P.S. Have my lift sitting in my room and it driving me crazy! I want wheels asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn, those are cheap! I paid $190 for Hankook 33x11.50's but I have 17" rims, which I've come to find out makes a big difference...

Personally, I like BFG tires. I got the BFG AT KO's and supposedly they will last around 50,000 miles. Check out this place... you can read the owners review on tires after you pick the tire you want.

Yeah, there's typically a big jump in price for the 17's. No clue why

OP, I have no personal experience with the Mickeys but I've found that more often than not, you get what you pay for. Wait around for some replies on the quality, ride, wear of those tires but my preferrence for a good running, long lasting A/T is a ProComp. I typically get at least 40k out of a set of ProComp A/T's and they don't break the bank.

he means in price, for some wacky reason tires for rims 17,18, 20 and up all cost more then tires for 15,16 rims even thought smaller rims =more rubber needed

I have 33" Mickey Thompson Baja MTX... I think I paid around $200/ea for them. I'd have to check my paperwork when I get home. You can check out my user profile pics/albums to see what they look like. I've been told they run really good for everyday driving and offroad use. I'm very happy with them so far.
I don't think it matters much between the 16" and 17" - but maybe someone else knows more about this than me? My husband is leaning towards getting the 16" since it gives the vehicle a bigger look when you have more tire.
