F.S. in I.E. Black Smittybilt G.E.A.R. Molle Overhead Console, NEW.

I'm selling a brand new (no box), Black Smittybilt G.E.A.R. Molle Overhead Console. This console fits Jeep JK Wrangler from 2007 to 2011 model years, 2dr and 4dr models. It is meant to work with soft top jeeps only. I believe it can be modified to work with a hard top but as is, will only work on soft top jeeps. It will only work on 2007 to 2010 model years, although Smittybilt advertises it as fitting 2007 to 2015 wranglers it does not out of the box. I believe it may be modified to work on newer but as is, will only work on 2007 to 2010 model years.

It is brand new with everything it came with from factory except for the box, I tossed it before trying to install it in my 2011.

I live in Victorville and work in Fontana, I can meet locally in the afternoon during the week, or I'm willing to drive a little to make this work, sorry, weekend only.

Interested?, shoot me an email, or P.M., price is $125.00 FIRM, please don't waste my or your time.

Thanks for looking and have agreat day!.

I might be interested although I have a 2012. Can you describe why/how it doesn't fit for post 2010?

Absolutely! .
On 2007 to 2010 wranglers inside footman's loop is centered on the windshield, on newer models the loop is left of center. The mounting bracket that holds the main console in place replaces the footman's loop. The main bracket then attaches to the mount, if you do this in a newer model, the whole console will be mounted about 4" to the left of center, it will be in the way of the driver side sunshade and just not be isometric.

Some have come up with clever answers to this but I've had a hard time getting clear answers or pictures for that matter.

I guess a strip maybe 5"long of 1" x 3/16 flat bar with 2 holes in it (one at each end)would allow to center the whole thing, I just never have the time to go to the metal yard.

Not sure if my explanation makes sense, you can get an idea of what I'm talking about if you look at the installation instructions on the Smittybilt site.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks for your interest!.
