San Diego Dealerships - JK mod friendly?

I dropped off the JK for leaking front and rear diffs...anyways, I asked them to recalibrate my tire size setting since I went up to 33" from stock X donuts...they wanted $99 and weren't backing down.

Anyone get theirs for FREE in San Diego? I've heard some dealers have done them for free.

If not, I'll get the Flashpaq or Procal...

Thanks!

Mcune dodge in Nat-city is the only semi-jeep friendly dealership I have found. I have not tried the one in clairmont across from ORW yet but have herd they are friendly. I know that Midway is NOT AT ALL!!

I got my 4 door Rubicon from Mcune in National City. Good dealer to work with on the purchase.

I bought my JK from the now defunct North County Jeep in Escondido . . . but other than that, I have never had my JK back to a dealership.

But, I do know several guys here (online and in North County) who use Bob Baker Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Carlsbad; and they all say good things about them.

I know I'm bringing up a OLD thread but that's what I get for using the search function that everybody is quick to point out. Question still remains, anybody have any personal experience with the dealerships in the San Diego area? Good? Bad? Ones to avoid?

FYI Big Brother monitors Jeep forums. If you have a "MOD FRIENDLY DEALER" send the info in PM. The LAST thing a dealer wants is being advertised on a forum as "DEALER FRIENDLY".

Ask the questions at the dealership when you go to look for them. I haven't had an issue with my JK yet where I've needed warranty work, but I tend to get lots of compliments on my rig from the staff at Rancho Jeep. I'd check them out.

When i lived in SD i bought 2 jeeps and a dodge from rancho, But i would say i would NEVER buy another vehicle there again. Our Dodge had a ton of issues and they wouldnt make it right. They did not go over any of the previous service history on the Brand new truck that they had performed, and in the end we made them buy the stupid thing back from us. Their service dept was also pure shit.... But this was 2 years ago, so maybe its better now?
