6 Days of EJS

It's been a long day, so I will let the pictures do most of the talking.

Moose and I arrived in Moab from Phoenix on 3/30 and headed to Moab Rim after checking in to our hotel.

After my one and only near-flop coming off the Z-Turn, we headed in for the night. The next day, we did the Poison Spider-Golden Spike-Gold Bar loop.

Moose on Launch Pad:

Moose checking out the view:

That's a big cliff!

Overview of the mesa:

Moose hittin' up Golden Crack:

Me in pursuit:

*cough*product placement*cough*

The trip back from Gold Bar wasn't too exciting. The next day, Moose attended the PSC photoshoot while my brother and I headed out to Kane Creek.

Pretty cool "tree tunnel" in the middle of the wash:

Later on that day, we met up to run Hell's Revenge:

"Just drive towards the sky":

A couple buggies heading up Hell's Gate:

Then Moose had a go. He went a little high on the passenger side, leading to some 3-wheeling action, but walked away just fine:

Pretty funny photo of Mrs. Moose telling us, "why is he driving this way? There is an easier path over there!"

Mustard Dog in the 4 Wheel Parts buggy making the Hot Tub look easy:

And that concluded the day. The next morning we woke up with a surprising change of scenery....

We headed out towards Behind the Rocks for our first group-run:

The Amsoil buggy catching air in the front going up White Knuckle:

Not only could this van tag along with us, it was running all the hard lines!

We kinda did our own things that night, so my brother and I headed out to Arches National Park for and caught the sunset:

The next day, we met up for the Rock Krawler run out to Metal Masher. Joe from Absolute Offroad led our group and was the first to attempt all the optionals:

Trying a few lines...

Until...whoops....

After (literally) pushing him back upright, HITMONEY gave it a go:

Until...whoops again!

Once he was back upright (without any damage too!) we headed forward. Co4lo made everything look easy:

planman was on the next obstacle by the time I arrived. His first approach:

After taking a new line, he made it right up:

And Co4lo again showed everyone how easy it was:

Except for the Unlimiteds, none of which could conquer this obstacle:

Even Rattle Trap couldn't make it up:

Poly had no issues in their 2 door:

Everyone seemed to scoot along at their own pace from here on out, so once we hit the pavement again, we headed back to Arches for a 1.5 miles hike to Delicate Arch:

We soon called it a night, and on our final day, headed to Arches one last time for my brother to climb the 105ft tall Owl Rock:

A successful climb for him, and a successful trip for all of us. You can bet I'll be attending EJS 2013!

By far some of the best shots, IMO of the weekend. Thanks for including some of the scenery as well.

Yeah, me and a few others are already making plans for 2013.

Really liked the shot of delicate arch. I gotta get out there one of these years. Definitely on the bucket list.

moab is definitely worth doing at least once.

If I go out again i'm going to fly and rent a jeep though. imho that's the way to go.

VERY cool pics guys. Lots of shots actually showing the action. not a lot of "frozen in time" pics!

31 jeeps in... still have issues
