Talking West Palm Beach Corbett Trail riding (and water fording) 1/14/12

Made a trip up to Corbett in West palm with a TJ and another JK. Weather was nice and crisp. A bit cloudy but no rain. Water lever was down a good bit so we were able to go places normally inaccessible. First part of the day was myself and a lift TJ on 35's. We did some tame trails and some water fording but nothing crazy. The 2nd half of the day was myself and Bob going through some narrow and deep water trails. It ended with my rig getting quite stuck in a narrow trail. It did allow me to use my winch for the first time. Engo 12000 worked like a champ!

Enjoy! (edit the 2nd half of the day pics of higher quality were taken by bob)

And now part 2 of the day. I sat for a bit. Relaxed. Dried off. Then met up with Bob and his wife.

Oh, the memories.

Thank you for posting the pics. The water level is pretty low.

I do not know about brave. Foolish maybe As for water level yeah very low. However it allows us to go in areas previously completely under water. Now still under water but just accessible.

Pretty much all Sunday. Wife is taking the rig for a bit so requested it be back together in 1 piece, carpet and all, so the scrubbing was hefty.

Looks like a fun trip, but damn I hate mud!
