Fordyce Creek wh5 to wh3 oct 2nd

We took a trip down from meadow Lake to winch hill 3 on the Fordyce Creek trail on October 2nd. The trail was more torn up than I had ever seen it. It was a fun trip down and took about 4 hours round trip with a stop for lunch. I figured I would share a couple of videos. I tried to keep them short but it was a little tough.

About 6:08 is where the fun really began for me. It was as close to going over as I had ever been. I pulled through but what a pucker moment.

Part 2 headed back up after lunch.

I had a job offer out east but I could not leave the wheeling out here. The trails just keep getting better. I can tell you when the rear unloaded I though the jeep was done.

It was quite a feeling and not a good one. Funny thing is I was not sure how high it really was until I saw the video.

I agree that commando is nice. No matter where we go it is the talk of the trail. The funny thing is because it is purple people think that it can't wheel but is has a true 4-link front and rear and flexes better than a lot of rigs I have seen. He built it for his wife and when the trail gets rough he gets out to spot and she drives.
