Hungry Valley Run

We had 32 rigs at our 2nd annual newbie / ball & chain run in Hungry Valley. Great weather, great people, and great wheeling.

Who would have guessed Hungry Valley would have been so much fun.... even with a Walmart parking lot's worth of rigs! Great run!

The waterfall obstacle is new, as are several other obstacles. They also modified the sluice box, mud pits, and rock climb to makes things a little different. its a place you could spend all day now. Luckily, the park coordinator is a Jeeper, so revenues get spent right .

We only run miller about once a year, mostly mild rigs enjoy it, as it is an easy trail.

Definitely run with us, we are not a formal club with politics and voting. We just like to Wheel hard, drink beer, eat BBQ, and talk shit to each other. We normally have a couple runs a month, which various people out of about 100 members attend. We have lots of JKs to share tech with too.

We had a blast, I agree that hungry valley is actually fun now. It's almost set up like an obstical course now. The water fall was very intimidating after watching people struggle and get hung up on the cement slabs. With all that sloppy ass mud at the base I wasn't sure if I could get the traction to get up it. The sluce box ain't no joke either, stog rigs use to be able to run it all the way through in either direction but with all the big boulders pushed into the box especially towards the end it is a legit obstical.

Can't wait til next years event.

We live about 30 mins south of here and have been itching to test out the new (to us) jeep, wish I'd known about this beforehand! Looks like it was a good time!

Pretty cool vid, looks like you all had a great time.

What are some of the specs on the silver 2 door with the detroit locker sticker on the windshield? Looks to be pretty well built.
