Do we need to start a "Buy Hundy A Camera That Doesn't Suck Bawhlz" campaign? You have some seriously high expectations to live up to - especially when it comes to pics of the creatures that typically surround your boat on the lake. We will give you a pass because it was just dudes in Jeeps and bonus for kick ass rock crawling through Sledge.

Thanks for sharing, dude!

Thx, Guys--- It was a really fun, challenging day. I really give the crew props for showing up ready to run.

Offroadgeorge

4x4LOYR
Woods- honorable mention

I had surprisingly little problem gretting thru-- the only spot that gave me a little trouble was the last set of boulders just at the top before the mailbox. I had to ge a spot and stack a few. Other than that, I pretty much rolled through.

Not very many JKs have been through Sledge. I am stoked for these guys-- its a great feeling of accomplishment when done!

Yes-- all the way to the top, and down 'Sledge Slide'. (missed ya, Rob!)

Then we went over to 'Backdoor', where we winched Oleg up and thru there. Even though we winched, it was still pretty cool. It was practice for JKX. Now Oleg knows what needs to be done. I dont think any JKs are going to "drive" up it.

It was a really fun day! And the weather was perfect! About 70 deg and no wind.

Cant wait till the next hardcore run!!

I am pissed about my camera-- What makes me mad is my old phone took great pics. this one doesnt.

I am testing some settings, and I downloaded a camera app that I hope will help. I have a digital camera that works good, but I havent been bringing it because my ph took such good pics--- maybe I'll have to start bringing the camera again...

Sorry about those pics-

Thanks for putting this "little" run together, Hundy! It was a blast. No matter what quality pictures are taken, they will never do justice to being there first hand. We're very glad we made the drive out to Johnson Valley to join you guys, and even more stoked to have made it to the top Sledge without any breakage.

Helping/watching Oleg climb Backdoor was impressive. We'll definitely be out there at JKX rooting on Team Oleg.

Photos will follow shortly ....

Turns out that I did have minor breakage from the Sledgehammer run. Not a real big deal, and something I've been having problems with on recent runs. It looks like I hit the reseviour for my Fox Shox 2.0 on the rear passenger side, and pushing it up so that the connector hose kinked, therefore not allowing the oil the flow. Looks like I blew a seal in the bottom and the oil is leaking out. Just need to have it re-built for the 3rd time. Thinking about switching to the Fox 2.0 single-tube shocks (get rid of the reseviour -- it seems to be where I'm having problems).

Hey Mitch, glad you like the photos ... it was a great day of tough wheelin'.

When I drop off the Fox shock at ORW tomorrow, it will be the 2nd time I have re-built this shock (driver-side has been re-built once). It is the reservoir that I keep having problems with: either it catches on a bracket under the Jeep, or hits a rock. The body of the shock seems to be positioned fine. What I did the last re-built was have them put on an extended hose so I can mount the reservoir remotely if I need to (also, the extra hose length doesn't kink and bind as easily).
