Benchmark Rear Winch Bumper in Action

Headed out last weekend for some more rear winch use. We found a deep washout across the trail. It was steep, deep, off-camber, and rolled off the edge on the downhill side.

If you tried driving straight down into it, the rear of the Jeep would slide downhill sideways and the Jeep would absolutely roll.

We hooked up the rear winch to lower the Jeep down into the washout and then used the front winch to pull out the other side. It worked great! This would not have been possible to cross any other way.

Pardon the low quality pics, it was almost dark and pouring rain. I had to lighten them up in photoshop.

Looks great. Not too many rear winch bumpers, by far the cleanest one I've seen.

Does the fairlead you have on it in those pics come with the bumper? And what synthetic line are you using? I love the entire set-up!!! Any pics of how you mounted the box inside the cab?
