Northwoods Overland near Rib Lake, Wi

This past Labor Day weekend, we spent at the Northwoods Overland Campground and ORV park. Great staff, nice campgrounds ($20.00 a night Camp site with Electric/water and $25.00 for the weekend pass of trail riding). This is trail riding thru the woods, but this offers its own challenges. Some of the trails are thru Logging areas, so the trails have stumps, limbs, logs, mud, water, tight twisting trails (the orange route is to tight for a JK [was design for CJs, YJs and TJs]), slippery rocks, slippery roots, mud, scramble areas (tire crawls, mud, rocks and log step crawls), steep rock hill climbs and did I say mud (Ok it had been a wet summer)! The video shows some of the beauty that can be found in the woods plus a few surprise out on the trail. Well worth the drive out there. 3 hours from the twin cities in Minnesota. For more info their web site is http://www.northwoodsoverland.com/ , give it a try. They still have a few days open this year left, but their is all ways next summer. Here is the video montage.

Pretty cool. I don't care for wooden bridges, though. I'd like to see orange.
Thanks for sharing the adventure.

Great video. Looks like you guys had lots of fun. I'm going to have to check this place out some time.

( That note left on your Jeep was pretty funny.)
