I had a small group of friends and family out in Death Valley to honor the memory of my father who passed away on March 15th 2012. He has been taking me into the backcountry of Death Valley for over 22 years so we figure what better place to gather and remember him than this. We had 3 day to play in the jeeps so we ran Tuki mine on Friday because it was close to stovepipe wells where we were staying. Saturday took us through warm springs canyon/mengel pass/goler wash. Sunday we went up to the defense mine for the first time and went home Monday morning. We had great weather and no major issues the entire trip.
