Grabber5.sl0w's Daily JK Build Thread (Pic Heavy)

Well, I purchased my first Jeep last week for use as a daily driver. Not sure how far into modding this thing I'm gonna go, but I figured I'd start a build thread to track the progress.

It's a 2012 2 Door Sahara in Black Forest Green with the only options being a hardtop and running boards.

Here's a picture of it at the dealer,

As soon as I brought it home, I took the ugly bug shield and window visors off.

Earlier today, I took all morning to do a full paint correction with my DA and took the Wrangler & Sahara stickers off the sides. Looks much more clean now IMO. The paint feels as smooth as glass now.

So far the mod plans are; 2.5" Mopar lift, 20% Tint, Soft Top, and new wheels/tires as well as small aesthetic things here and there.

I'll keep this thread updated periodically. Feel free to chime in and speak your mind on my progress.

Nice look, I have a black Sahara as well. What made you choose the Mopar lift?

Looks good. Are those a factory rim?
Talk to some people who have experience with the MOPAR lifts...I think you may be able to do better with an aftermarket lift kit...comfort wise.
