I'm back guys

Just excited to have a jeep again figured I'd post up. Nothing special yet. I picked up today a 2 dr 2012 rubicon 24k miles.. The 3.6 is a night and day difference from the 3.8, im liking it so far although the damn check engine light has already came on. Code is misfire cylinder #1. Guess its going back Monday to get looked at. Also there's only 2 bolts holding the hard top on. I even bought this from a reputable jeep dealer in Louisville you would they check this stuff. I need the two upper main bolts that hold the panels on and 2 hex bolts for the rear half. Anyways glad to be back not that any of you care. won't let me load pics from my cell its silver, hell you guys have seen em before anyways. It has all the options, the uconnect is a pita im not a fan of it quite yet.

What happened to tapatalk? Did Jkowners get banned or what cause i cant find it or pirate on there.

Thanks I'm glad to be back. Just need to source parts now. Not going extreme this time I plan to keep this build practical just chromoly axle rear shafts and probably rcv's no bigger than 35s.

Thanks for the info. I found that app its just a copy of Tapatalk but not near as good. The ads suck guess I will just use the home pc. I can only imagine what all was said in that thread I already don't like that app and was only on for a few minutes...

I just read on another site about another new owner of a 3.6 having the CEL come on for the same problem.I'm glad to have the 3.8 with no problems.

Welcome back.

It might be a bad cylinder head. Do you hear any ticking sounds?

Its not ticking least not that I can hear with window down. I did read there where a lot of problems with the early 12 models having the heads replaced. I hope that's not the issue but if so least it's under warranty. I kinda figured I'd have a problem with it. On the test drive the cel came on. They scanned it there and it was a misfire same cylinder. The tech and I both thought probably a coil pack going bad or just a fluke. I just hope when I take it back they fix it right the first time.
