Jeep Carnage

This Facebook site collects flops, roll overs, etc.

At the end of this one, the guy on the camera says "we gotta a problem" No shit.

This is also why ledge roads in the winter are scary (and this one wasn't a really bad ledge road).

Pretty much every day they have a new video up.

too much power, oops

Looks like moab. In these Jeep Carnage posts there is a common theme: too much power at the wrong time leads to very bad outcomes.

That's a pretty sorry obstacle to flop on. The clutch pedal works wonders!

Johns Trail in St George. That is a nasty obstacle. The JKUs do ok. Shorter wheel bases make it really hairy.

Jeep Carnage

Here's another for this morning. Again too much skinny pedal. Then off camber. I'm amazed at how he tumbled between trees successfully.

That right there is why I want to run a 6-8" rear stretch and 2-3" front stretch on my 2 door JK. Short wheelbase plus a bit too much throttle is a bad thing on steep climbs. That looks like an LJ not a TJ TJ would have been worse.

Too tall and not wide enough to be stable once it fell off camber.

2 guys killed by broken snatch…..good reminder of how dangerous this stuff can be. Sad because it was totally preventable.

Jeep Carnage

Today's carnage: A roll on Rocker Knocker obstacle on Pritchett Canyon trail in Moab. Worth looking at for the learning of what not to do.

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=588069784615643

The back end of the jeep should have been a foot or two more to driver. On this obstacle, the jeep will naturally slide sideways until it hits the rocker knocker rock, then pivot and climb. It's not that hard of an obstacle. Just feels very weird.

Bad line and too narrow of a setup. That was not an extreme angle to induce a rollover. This is why mine will be 14" wider than stock very soon.
