What exactly is the 35 spline upgrade kit? ARB locker and ???? Also not sure if it said but is this for a Rubi or non Rubi?

Jeeps...the cure for a heavy wallet.

I think I read it wrong, the upgrade is the locker and shafts?

The upgrade is an ARB locker and 35-spline chromoly shafts. (You need both)

It will fit a Rubi or non-Rubi rear 44.

Im sorry, but how could the shafts possible fit a rubi and a non rubi housing if a rubi44 has different length rear shafts? Not saying your wrong, or trying to blow up your thread, but I just want to know for future reference

Because the upgrade requires you to replace the stock carrier with an ARB. My understanding is the stock carriers have a different offset hense the different length shafts.

You don't need to take my word for it though.

You can ask Just Differentials
http://www.justdifferentials.com/ind...oducts_id=4012

You can ask ARB (edit: see my correction a few posts below this one)
http://arb.com.au/media/products/air...tion_chart.pdf

Rubicons have different length shafts because of the locker unit itself. Change that to an ARB and you now run same length shafts.

I wish you would ship already, and it would already be sold! Here's to hoping that it still might be around after KOH. Good luck selling it though, I think you're giving a good deal, and as much as I want this, I know how it feels to sit on parts.

You can ask ARB (uses same RD157 locker for both applications)
http://arb.com.au/media/products/air...tion_chart.pdf
Somebody let me know that the correct locker for the Non-Rubi housing is a RD147. The chart I linked to is misleading since it does not list any locker application for a non-Rubi housing with 35-spline shafts. If you search the ARB site by typing in the vehicle model type it takes you to a different chart which lists the RD157 is for the Rubicon housing only and 35-spline shafts. It also shows the RD147 for non-Rubi housings and 35-spline shafts.

I just wanted to correct this so nobody gets misled like I apparently was.

So... the locker I have is for Rubicon housings only.

Also the shafts being the same length is correct and still applies to either axle.
