fs: westchester, ny: defective benchmark oil pan(x2): $60

just trying to recoup money I wasted each time i tryed to install (ie. syn oil).

first one has a hole which could probably be welded and repainted.

second fit tight, and required filing "guide rails" on face on where oil pan attached to engine.

decided to go with skid rather than attempting a 3rd pan install.

"rails that need filing"

There have been many folks that got a good product, and a few like myself, that didn't.

I'm hoping by now, that BM has got their supply chain, and quality issues ironed out. In general it seems like the owner, is an honest guy, with decent product(s)/ideas, that was swamped/understaffed with meeting a spike in demand and managing 3rd party suppliers. The result was long waits, poor communication, and sometimes spotty quality.

As a student of understanding how businesses are run, I'm sympathetic, but as a customer, I'm disappointed.

Just noticed your screen name. Think I was talking to you at the air pump leaving the tatas ride.
