1990 Jeep Wrangler with Grand national motor.

Selling my 1990 YJ. I bought this from a friend of mine who installed the motor. Its a buick 3.8 turbo with a wrangler 5 speed trans. Currently the motor is running 4 lbs of boost, however the engine can make up to 12 lbs but that is not safe for the transmission. All the stock fuel injection/computer have been wired in and works correctly. Flowmaster exhaust. Ive been driving this jeep daily for the past few weeks and it is a blast to drive.

Other mods are a 2.5 inch lift with 31 inch BFG AT's. The Jeep has around 130k on the body and 3100 miles on the motor swap. The jeep was painted 3 years ago. Asking 4500 and am open to offers. Located in cincinnati ohio. Also comes with spare transmission.

Looks like a damn clean (atleast on the outside) Jeep. Everything else looks nice too, I will actually pass this onto my brother, he is looking for an old Jeep for a little get around winter/summer car.

GLWS!

2008 JKU, ProComps, 35 Kevlar MT/R's, Dana 44s, locked, 5.13, Artic Trusses, RCVs, all types of OR-Fab stuff, PIAA's, 2.5in Suspension lift, Adams driveshaft, Teraflex SpeedBumps, Warn Winch and some other goodies...

Wow I have a 1988 wrangler and would love to do a Grand National swap. This is really awesome and rare. You got any right ups on the swap?

is that a T type engine or a genuine Grand national engine?
what year engine is it? From what I remember the coil packs were in the back and the alternators were on the drivers side of the Grand nationals it has been a really long time since I worked on them. Is the Jeep rusty how is the condition of the frame?

That is not a Buick Grand National Motor. It appears to be some type of 1988 of newer 3800 with a turbo on it. But I am sure it is still fun to drive.

after some research from the previous owner, it is a 1999 regal motor with a turbo instead of a supercharger, the frame is in pretty good shape, a little bit of rust starting on the rear drivers side frame rail.
