I got an ebay kit for like $100 bucks not too bad. but then i found we need capacitors and relays so the hids dont flicker and that was like another $100. I like them, but I dont think anyone else does. A lot of people flick their high beams at me when i have my low beams on. I might try to angle them down a little or........ Ive been itching to lift 2.5 but i want to keep my stock rims with 35's and tires are a shit load of $$ for 18" rims. You ever get into any trails around here?

Still 200, not too bad. I was just reading a thread about some and sounded more like 350 400. Like to consider it at some point, when I got extra money to burn.... right!! I haven't trailed yet since our options around here suck. You know of anywhere local and LEGAL? Haven't lifted yet but was thinking the same 2.5 w 35s on my Rubi rims. They're 17, little easier on tire prices...

I dont know of any where legal. Ive lived here my whole life and i used to have a lifted cherokee. There is a lot of trails around here but im petty sure most of them arent a "legal" spot. Ive only wheeled this jeep once i went down by salmon river but thats def not legal haha. if you go to the welcome room there is a post that says new member from CT. Someone wrote in there that there is plenty of legal spots around here. Im not too sure. There is a meet and greet at the cabelas parking lot tomarrow night for NEJeep club. I guess everyone drives their jeep there and hang out for a bit. I might try and stop over there and talk to some of those guys for a bit.

I do know of "nepaug state park" I think it is. NW ct, I think. It has legal trails but from what I hear, there are many prohibited areas that aren't very clearly marked. And they WILL bust you if you get caught straying into them. Tho might be a good place to get my feet wet again. Only been offroad a little and it was many years ago. Lemme know if ya go tomorrow and get any good info...
